My Faith Journey – Ten

Stepping into the Unknown

Uncertainty can be paralyzing: job insecurity, health concerns, or significant life changes, such as moving or retirement, loom large, stirring fear. But faith invites us to trust God even when the path isn’t clear. Abraham stepped out in Genesis 12, leaving his home on God’s promise without knowing the details.

Proverbs 3:5-6 urges us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding; He will make our paths straight. Surrender control through prayer, casting anxieties on Him as 1 Peter 5:7 instructs.

Plan wisely but hold plans loosely, open to God’s redirection. Philippians 4:6-7 promises peace that guards our hearts when we pray with thanksgiving.

I’ve faced uncertainties, such as career shifts, where trusting God has led to unexpected provision. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us His plans are for our good. If uncertainty grips you, lean on Him step by step; He’ll guide you faithfully.
